Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Thousands will be joining together this Friday, June 19 to commemorate this symbolic day. This Juneteenth Exhale Lunch will be a safe space for the Black community and allies to reflect, recharge, reconnect, and realign on our goals for justice.

LIFT EVERY VOICE: A JUNETEENTH SPECIAL

NAACP JUNETEENTH BLACK FAMILY REUNION:
THE MUSIC, THE MOMENTS, THE MOVEMENT
Join us for a special Black Family Reunion event as we honor the lives we’ve lost this year, uplift our collective movement for civil rights, and remember the moments that make us proud to be Black.
On Juneteenth, NAACP and REVOLT TV partner to provide a safe space for Black families to convene in that same spirit. Leaders of the new civil rights movement, celebrities, and other public figures will come together for a Virtual Black Family Reunion and rally to form a united path forward.
JUNETEENTH 2020: STAY BLACK AND LIVE FESTIVAL
Juneteenth 2020: Stay Black and Live is a virtual Juneteenth festival. A collaboration with several Black organizations in Austin’s historic East side (G.E.A.Y.A., Six Square, CarverMuseumATX, Carver Library, and Jump On It), this year’s Juneteenth celebration emphasizes not only the timeless themes of freedom and perseverance, but also recognizes the unprecedented times we’re currently living through.
Before our online program starts, the 10,000 Fearless First Responders will be distributing free plates to the communities most in need on the East side of Austin, TX.
